Free Initial Consultation
Our first meeting will be a free in-home consultation where we will sit together to assess your needs. We will discuss your bills, finances, other paperwork, and anything else you may want or need out of our services. If you have relatives or other supporters such as attorneys or accountants, they are also welcome to join us at this meeting. We will also discuss confidentiality and discuss an hourly agreement for services. After our initial session, we will continue to visit you in the comfort of your home to assure your finances and other needs are kept current and accurate. We will help create a schedule that works for you.
Bill Pay Management
We will make sure your bills are paid on time, keep record of bills paid, review bills for overcharges and unapproved charges, deal directly with companies to request bill extensions or payment plans, provide expense tracking, and make sure your documents are organized electronically or with hard copies. We will also deal directly with bill collectors, accountants, and insurance companies. At the end of every month we will provide monthly invoices to the client for their records.
Bill Pay: We will make sure your bills are paid on time by paying electronically or by checks signed by the client or their legal representative. We also give our clients the option to set up automatic payments. We will keep records of bills paid and provide monthly summaries of bills paid and other services rendered.
Mail Review: We will open and review all mail to sort through what is important and what needs to be thrown away or shredded.
Fraud Review: We will review all bills including credit cards for overcharges and unapproved charges. We will also review checking accounts to verify they are balanced and minimize the likelihood of fraud.
Point of Contact: As your daily money manager we will deal directly with companies to request bill extensions or payment plans. We will also deal directly with bill collectors, accountants, and insurance companies on your behalf.
Insurance Claim Submission: We will work with your insurance companies to submit claims, make sure accounts are paid and up to date, and request any information that may be needed.
File Organization: We will make sure your documents are filed and organized by hard copies or electronically (which ever you prefer) to keep you organized to make tax time easier. We will also help you go through old files and shred anything that is no longer needed.
Tax Time: We will work with your accountant to make sure they have all paperwork that is needed at tax time.
