Our Story
On February 23, 2013 Megan got a phone call that would change the rest of her life: her mom had been killed in a car accident. At the time, she had no idea the impacts, good and bad, that this event would have on the future course of her life.
In the wake of this tragedy, her father became crippled with grief and soon came to the realization that he had never paid a bill during their 35-year marriage because Megan’s mom took care of all of those responsibilities. In what seamed at the time to just be a loving effort to help her father through this challenge, Megan picked up where her mom left off and paid the bills one by one, month by month. She had no idea that this simple act would start her on the path to start Mindful Bill Management.
Our Story
During this time, Megan also started nannying to make money for herself. Years passed, and she continued to pay her father’s bills for him, the baby that she cared for grew up and went to school. That is when the baby’s father, who was a very busy professional, hired Megan to pay his bills and organize his financial life. Again, days turned to years and she found herself loving what she was doing for her boss and her father.
This is what brought her to open Mindful Bill Management. If these two individuals from completely different walks of life needed so much help with these everyday tasks, there must be many other people out there that she could help. So, she created a company that can help senior citizens, grievers, busy professionals, and disabled people to name a few. This company was created to be able to help people eliminate something that complicates their life during an already difficult time.
